Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 10, 2026
Sheduler is an app for planning your day in time blocks. It is available on the web (web.sheduler.app) and as an app for Android, iPhone and iPad, and Windows. It is built and maintained by Arturo Bas, an independent developer in Costa Rica. This policy explains what data Sheduler handles and what it doesn't, across all platforms and on the sheduler.app website.
In short
- Sheduler has no accounts and no servers that store your information.
- Your schedule is stored only on your device or, on the web, in your browser.
- We don't use analytics, advertising or tracking, and we don't sell or share data.
What the app stores, and where
Your blocks, categories, settings (language, theme, reminders) and stats are stored and calculated on your device:
- On Android, iPhone, iPad and Windows, in the app's storage.
- On the web, in your browser's local storage for web.sheduler.app. That data exists only in that browser on that device, and it isn't synced anywhere else.
None of it is sent to us or to anyone else. We have no way to see it.
System backups. If you have device backups turned on (for example, Google backup on Android or iCloud on iPhone and iPad), your system may include Sheduler's data in them. Those backups are handled by Google or Apple according to your settings and their own privacy policies. We have no access to them.
Reminders
If you turn on reminders, the app asks for permission to show notifications and schedules them on your own device, without going through any server. On Android it also uses the system startup permission to reschedule them when you turn your phone on. You can turn them off in the app's settings or in your system settings.
Export, import and sharing
- Export creates a JSON file with your schedule wherever you choose. Import reads a file you choose. The app doesn't upload these files anywhere.
- Share your week creates an image on your device and opens your system's share menu. You decide who to share it with and which app to use. What happens after that depends on that app.
The websites
sheduler.app and web.sheduler.app are hosted on Cloudflare. Like any web server, Cloudflare processes technical data from each visit (IP address, browser type, requested page) to deliver the pages and protect the sites from attacks, under its own privacy policy. We don't use cookies, analytics or tracking tools on either site. Cloudflare may use strictly necessary technical cookies for security.
The web app and Google Fonts. The web app's engine is served from web.sheduler.app. Fonts, however, are downloaded by your browser from Google Fonts (fonts.gstatic.com): the base font when the app opens and, if you type emoji or characters from other scripts, only the font piece that's needed. Google receives your IP address when it serves those files, under its own privacy policy. No schedule data is sent. The sheduler.app website doesn't use Google Fonts.
App stores
If you download Sheduler from Google Play, the App Store or Microsoft Store, the store handles download data under its own privacy policy. The store may show us aggregate statistics, such as download counts, and, if you allowed it on your device, crash reports. Those reports don't contain your schedule.
If you contact us
If you write to support@sheduler.app, we receive your email address and whatever you send us. We use it only to reply to you, and we don't share it with anyone. Messages reach us through Cloudflare's email forwarding to a Gmail (Google) account. You can ask us to delete that correspondence at any time.
Children
Sheduler doesn't collect personal data from anyone, including children.
Your rights and deleting your data
Because your schedule never leaves your device, you're in control: uninstalling the app deletes it, and on the web, clearing the site's data in your browser does. If you want to keep a copy, export it first. For any correspondence we hold, you can ask for access, correction or deletion by writing to support@sheduler.app, under applicable law (including Costa Rica's Law 8968 and, if you live in the European Union, the GDPR).
Changes to this policy
If Sheduler starts using a service that sends data off your device (for example, optional sync between devices), we'll update this policy before launching it and let you know in the app. The date at the top shows the current version.
